Ensure gloves are fully dry inside and out. Check that the wrist closure is snug to prevent cold air from entering. For extreme cold, consider layering with a thinner liner glove.

Wipe fingertips with a dry cloth to remove any moisture or dirt. Ensure the glove is dry. Sometimes, a firmer press is needed compared to bare fingers.

Inspect gloves for any tears or damage to the waterproof membrane or seam tape. If damage is found, consider if repair is possible or if replacement is needed. Minor initial dampness may occur in prolonged heavy rain.
