Full details

Used for attaching metal to heavy section steel without the need to pre-drill a hole. NOTE: Partially threaded. Exterior plating gives a reliable and durable corrosion resistant coating which resists 500 hours salt-spray. These screws are 5.5mm in diameter and 100mm in length. The head type is Hex with a fixed washer diameter of 12.00mm. It is a self-drilling screw with a No.5 point, socket size of 8mm, and exterior (Silver Organic) finish. The material is case & core hardened carbon steel with an effective thread length of 56mm. It is suitable for a maximum drilling thickness of 12mm.
