Setup, Compatibility & Care Instructions
Sowing Indoors: Sow seeds 0.5cm deep in individual small pots of compost. Water well and maintain a temperature of 15-20°C (60-68°F) until germination. Grow on indoors in cooler temperatures.
Sowing Outdoors: From March to May, sow seeds directly into pre-watered soil at a depth of 0.5cm. Thin seedlings to 20cm apart.
Planting Out: Transplant seedlings outdoors between April and May, ensuring they are spaced 20cm apart.
Care: For a continuous supply, sow seeds every 2-3 weeks. To prevent bitterness and prolong leaf harvest, pinch off young flower buds as they appear. For the best flavor, pick leaves as needed and add them to dishes at the last minute of cooking.
Compatibility: Suitable for pots, window boxes, patios, and small gardens.
