Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: Connect one end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI output port of your source device (e.g., Blu-ray player, gaming console, computer) and the other end to the HDMI input port of your display device (e.g., TV, projector, monitor). Ensure both devices are powered off before making connections. For in-wall installations, follow local building codes and ensure the cable is properly secured and protected within the wall cavity as per its CL3 rating.
Compatibility: This cable is compatible with all devices featuring HDMI Type A ports. It supports HDMI 1.4b standards, including 3D, Audio Return Channel (ARC), and HDMI Ethernet Channel. It is backward compatible with older HDMI versions.
Care: To maintain optimal performance, avoid sharp bends or kinks in the cable. Keep connectors clean and free of dust; use a dry, soft cloth for cleaning if necessary. Do not use liquid cleaners directly on the connectors. Ensure the cable is not subjected to excessive tension or physical damage, especially during installation and within wall cavities.
