It is made from premium HSS-E-PM material, offering superior performance and extended tool life due to its powder metal high speed cobalt composition. The steam-tempered finish prevents work piece material from sticking to the cutting edge. Manufactured conforming to the international standardisation organisation (ISO Standard), this tap is a versatile choice for tapping steels and stainless steel, and is also suitable for aluminium and cast irons. It is a machine tap with a right-hand thread direction, a 6.3 mm shank diameter, and conforms to a 6H class of fit.
