Wilson Evolution Basketball - Size 7

The Wilson Evolution Basketball is available in Size 6 and Size 7. Size 7 is standard for men's official play, and Size 6 is typically for women's official play and younger male players.

While the ball is durable, its advanced composite cover and competitive design are primarily optimized for indoor court surfaces. Regular outdoor use on rough surfaces like concrete or asphalt may accelerate wear and affect its grip and lifespan.

To clean, use a damp cloth with a small amount of mild soap. Gently wipe the surface to remove dirt and grime. Rinse with a clean, damp cloth and allow the ball to air dry completely before storage or use. Avoid harsh chemicals.

The recommended PSI is usually printed near the inflation valve on the ball itself. Typically, basketballs are inflated between 7-9 PSI. Always check your specific ball for the exact recommendation to ensure optimal performance and ball longevity.

The Cushion Core Carcass technology provides a softer feel to the ball, which makes it easier and more comfortable to grip and handle. This can lead to improved control, better shooting touch, and reduced hand fatigue during extended play.

The Wilson Evolution is recommended for players aged 16+ and designed for competitive school, college, and academy use. While a beginner *can* use it, its premium features and cost might be more than necessary for casual or learning play, and it's best suited for players who can fully utilize its advanced characteristics.

Check the inflation valve for any debris or damage. If the valve seems fine, inflate the ball to the recommended PSI, then submerge it in water to look for air bubbles, which indicate a puncture. If punctured, professional repair or replacement may be necessary.

The composite cover can accumulate dust, dirt, or residues over time. Clean the ball thoroughly with a damp cloth and mild soap. Ensure it's completely dry before use. If the ball is very old, the composite material may naturally degrade.

This is usually an inflation issue. Check the ball's PSI with a pressure gauge and adjust accordingly using a pump. Over-inflation can make the ball too hard and reduce grip, while under-inflation makes it soft and difficult to control.

Ensure the ball is correctly inflated to the recommended PSI. An uneven bounce can also indicate internal damage or a manufacturing defect; if inflation is correct and the issue persists, contact customer support.
