Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
As a mechanical or quartz watch, the primary setup involves setting the correct time and date. Ensure the crown is properly secured after adjustment to maintain water resistance.
Compatibility:
This timepiece is designed as a standalone accessory. Compatibility pertains to strap or bracelet options if applicable, which should be sourced from authorized Longines providers to ensure a perfect fit and material match.
Care:
- Cleaning: Gently wipe the case and bracelet with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn smudges, use a slightly damp cloth, ensuring no moisture enters the movement. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Winding (for mechanical models): If your model is automatic, wearing it daily is usually sufficient for winding. Manual winding can be done by gently turning the crown clockwise.
- Storage: Store the watch in its original box or a soft pouch when not in use to protect it from scratches and dust.
- Water Resistance: Adhere to the specified water resistance limits. Avoid exposing the watch to high-pressure water or steam, and ensure the crown is always pushed in or screwed down.
