Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: Installation typically involves fixing the backplate to the door using the provided screws, ensuring it is flush and secure. The handle mechanism then attaches to the backplate. It is recommended to measure existing door preparation before purchase to ensure compatibility. Standard spindle and lock mechanisms are usually compatible, but verification with your specific lockset is advised.
Compatibility: This handle is designed for standard interior doors. Compatibility primarily depends on the door's thickness and the lock mechanism's spindle size and backset. While it features a lock backplate, it is often sold separately from the actual lock mechanism.
Care: To maintain the polished chrome finish, clean regularly with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as these can scratch the surface. For stubborn marks, a mild, non-abrasive soap solution can be used, followed by drying with a clean, soft cloth.
