Product Information

Full details

Sequence Junior is a classic strategy game tailored for younger fans of the Paw Patrol franchise, designed to help children develop critical skills like observation, concentration, and logical thinking. Players compete to be the first to place four of their chips in a row on the game board by strategically playing cards featuring their favorite characters. While it is an excellent tool for cognitive development, the game relies on basic reading and matching skills, which may be challenging for the youngest preschoolers without adult assistance.

FAQs

What is the recommended age for this game?

While the game is part of the 'Junior' series, it is best suited for children who are beginning to read and understand basic strategy, typically ages 4 to 7.

How many people can play at once?

Sequence Junior is designed for 2 to 4 players.

Does the game require batteries?

No, Sequence Junior is a purely mechanical board game and does not require any electronics or batteries.

Are there enough chips for 4 players?

Yes, the set includes 84 chips, providing plenty for each of the 4 players to have their own set of colors.

What do the Mayor Goodway and Mayor Humdinger cards do?

These cards act as wildcards or special action cards that mix up the strategy, keeping the gameplay unpredictable and exciting.

Troubleshooting

Missing game pieces

Check under furniture and in the storage box; if pieces are permanently lost, the game may still be playable with fewer chips or by using tokens from other games as substitutes.

Game feels too difficult for the child

Play with open cards (face up) so an adult can provide guidance and help the child identify matches on the board.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setting up the game is straightforward: unfold the game board on a flat surface and distribute the chips by color to each player. Shuffle the 42 cards and deal them out according to the number of players. To care for your Sequence Junior set, ensure that the game board is kept dry and folded along the original creases to prevent tearing. Because the game consists of small plastic chips and cards, it is best stored in its original box in a cool, dry place to prevent loss of pieces. When the game is finished, count the chips to ensure all 84 are accounted for before packing them away.
