- Before first use, disassemble all bottle components (bottle, nipple, collar, cap).
- Wash thoroughly with warm soapy water. Use a bottle brush to ensure all crevices are clean.
- Rinse all components well with clean water.
- Sterilize all parts using your preferred method (see 'Care' section below) before the first use.
Compatibility:
The MAM Easy Active Baby Bottles are designed to be compatible with most standard baby bottle sterilizers (steam, UV) and bottle warmers. Always refer to the instructions of your sterilization or warming device to ensure proper fit and material compatibility. Info needed: Confirm if bottle material is safe for specific high-heat sterilization types (e.g., boiling for extended periods).
Care & Maintenance:
- After Each Use: Disassemble the bottle completely and wash all parts immediately with warm soapy water to prevent milk residue build-up. Rinse thoroughly.
- Cleaning: All components are typically dishwasher safe (top rack recommended) or can be hand-washed. Use a soft sponge or bottle brush. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
- Sterilization: Regular sterilization is crucial. You can sterilize by:
- Boiling: Place disassembled components in boiling water for 5 minutes. Ensure sufficient water to prevent damage.
- Steam Sterilizer: Follow the instructions of your electric or microwave steam sterilizer.
- UV Sterilizer: Follow the instructions of your UV sterilizer.
- Cold Water Sterilizer: Use a sterilizing solution as directed by the product manufacturer.
- Storage: Store clean and dry bottle components in a hygienic place away from direct sunlight and heat.
- Replacement: Inspect nipples and bottles regularly for wear, tear, discoloration, or damage. Replace them immediately if any signs of damage are present. Info needed: Recommended replacement frequency for nipples (e.g., every 2-3 months) and bottles (e.g., every 4-6 months).
