The Schwalbe Wicked Will is a high-performance, versatile mountain bike tyre engineered for riders who demand a balance between rapid rolling speed on climbs and reliable traction on technical descents. Ideal for everything from long-distance alpine crossings to fast-paced trail riding, this 29-inch tyre utilizes the Addix Speedgrip compound for optimal grip and longevity. While it provides excellent all-around performance, users should note that as a lightweight, race-oriented tyre, it may require careful line selection on extremely sharp or jagged rock terrain compared to heavy-duty downhill casings.

Yes, the Super Race casing and fast-rolling tread make it a great option for modern, technical cross-country race courses.
The Addix Speedgrip compound provides good grip on wet rocks and roots, though it is not a dedicated mud-shedding tyre.
Yes, while designed for tubeless use, it can be run with inner tubes if preferred.
Recommended pressure depends on rider weight and rim width; consult the sidewall of the tyre for the specific range.
It can be used in both positions, though many riders use it as a rear tyre paired with a more aggressive front tyre for maximum trail versatility.
Ensure the tyre bead is pushed into the center channel of the rim all the way around before inflating. Using a little soapy water on the bead can help it slide into position.
Check that the tubeless valve is tightened properly and that there is sufficient, fresh sealant inside the tyre to plug small gaps.
The Wicked Will is a 29-inch, folding, Tubeless Easy tyre. For optimal performance, pair it with high-quality tubeless sealant and ensure your rim tape is properly seated before installation. When seating the bead, a high-volume floor pump or a tubeless compressor is recommended to ensure the bead pops into the rim shelf securely. To maintain the life of the tyre, inspect the sidewalls periodically for signs of abrasion and top off your sealant every 3 to 6 months depending on local humidity. Always check your tyre pressure before each ride, as the performance characteristics of the Addix compound are most noticeable within the manufacturer's recommended PSI range.
