Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Unpack: Carefully remove the microwave from its packaging, ensuring all packing materials and accessories (like the turntable) are present.
- Placement: Position the microwave on a flat, stable surface, ensuring sufficient ventilation space around the unit (typically 10-15 cm around the sides and back, 20-30 cm above).
- Turntable Assembly: Place the turntable ring in the center of the microwave cavity, then position the glass turntable plate on top of the ring, ensuring it sits securely.
- Power Connection: Plug the 1.1 m power cable into a standard wall outlet. The microwave operates at 800 watts.
Compatibility
This microwave is a solo model, meaning it is designed for heating, cooking, and defrosting. It does not offer grill or convection oven functions. Its external dimensions are approximately 27.5H, 48.9W, 37.4D cm, making it suitable for most standard kitchen countertops or microwave shelves. The 23-litre capacity and 28.8 cm turntable diameter accommodate standard dinner plates and cooking dishes.
Care
- Interior Cleaning: The Ceramic Enamel Interior is designed for easy cleaning. After each use, simply wipe the interior with a damp cloth to remove food splatters, grease, and oil. For tougher stains, use a mild detergent solution and then wipe clean with a damp cloth.
- Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior plastic surface with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
- Deodorisation: Use the deodorisation function periodically to remove any lingering food odors and keep the interior fresh.
- Turntable Care: The glass turntable and ring can be washed with warm, soapy water or placed in a dishwasher for thorough cleaning. Ensure they are completely dry before placing them back in the microwave.
