The Makita HS012GZ 40V 165mm Circular Saw Bare Unit is an ideal cordless power tool for professional carpenters and kitchen fitters needing to make long cuts in thick boards. It features a brushless motor for excellent power, generating a no-load speed of 5,200rpm, with constant speed control maintaining performance for quick and efficient work in thick wooden boards. The saw includes a compact and lightweight Magnesium diecast base plate, safety cover, blade case, and a metal guide for the cutting line. Additional features include a lock-off button, twin LED job lights, an electric brake, anti-restart function, and AWS compatibility. It is supplied as a bare unit in a Makpac case, along with a parallel guide, dust nozzle, and hex key. The machine offers a maximum cutting depth of 57mm at 90 degrees and 41mm at 45 degrees, with the ability to bevel left up to 50 degrees. It also incorporates a battery protection system.
