Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Prime the Marker: Before first use, shake the marker well. Press the tip down firmly on a piece of scrap paper for a few seconds until the ink flows evenly. You may need to repeat this process a couple of times.
Compatibility:
This marker is designed for use on non-porous surfaces such as:
- Glass
- Plastic
- Metal
- Whiteboards
- Glossy painted surfaces
- Ceramics
- Laminated paper
It is not recommended for use on porous surfaces like untreated wood, fabric, or textured walls, as the ink may not be erasable and could bleed.
Care:
- Storage: Always store the marker horizontally or with the cap pointing upwards to prevent ink leakage and tip drying. Ensure the cap is tightly sealed after each use.
- Cleaning: To remove markings from non-porous surfaces, use a damp cloth. For stubborn marks or a cleaner finish, use ZIG POSTERMAN CLEANER (KUPMACL-50).
- Tip Maintenance: If the tip becomes clogged, gently wipe it with a damp cloth. Avoid using excessive force that could damage the tip.
