Setup, Compatibility & Care

To begin, ensure the KM100 is connected to a stable Wi-Fi network to download the latest firmware and vehicle database updates. When using the device for BMW vehicles, always consult the compatibility chart by checking your specific model, year, and VIN against the current software database before attempting programming. For care, keep the tablet screen clean using a microfiber cloth and store the unit in its protective case when not in use. Avoid exposing the VCI and the tablet to moisture or extreme heat, as the internal hardware is sensitive to environmental damage. When the battery level is low, use the included charging cable to reach full capacity before starting any long-duration programming tasks.
