The Xtralite Nitesafe Sensor II is an ideal safety lighting solution for homeowners looking to improve visibility in hallways, landings, and bedrooms. It serves as a multifunctional device that acts as an automated motion-sensing night light, a reliable emergency power failure light, and a portable handheld torch. While it provides exceptional versatility and peace of mind during blackouts, users should note that the unit requires a standard wall outlet to remain charged and functional as a motion-activated sensor.

The portable handheld torch provides 130 Lumens of light.
Yes, you can select the dawn-to-dusk mode, which emits a soft 0.3-Lumen glow throughout the night.
No, it uses a rechargeable internal battery that charges while the unit is docked in your wall outlet.
The unit is designed for indoor use; however, it should be kept away from water sources and excessive humidity to prevent damage.
The modes are generally controlled by the settings on the unit or by its placement in the cradle. Refer to the specific mode selection switch on your unit.
Check that the unit is fully seated in the charging base and that the sensor is pointed toward the desired detection zone.
Ensure the battery has been charged by leaving the unit in the cradle for several hours while the power is active.
Adjust the angle of the swiveling PIR sensor away from high-traffic doorways or pets to narrow the detection field.
To set up your Xtralite Sensor II, plug the charging base into any standard indoor wall outlet. Ensure the PIR sensor is facing the area you wish to monitor; if the orientation is incorrect, rotate the sensor head within the cradle to improve detection.
For optimal maintenance, keep the sensor lens clean by wiping it gently with a dry, lint-free cloth to ensure the motion detection remains accurate. Avoid exposing the unit to moisture or extreme heat, as it is designed for indoor domestic use only. The internal battery requires regular charging, so keep the device in its cradle during daylight hours to ensure full capacity for nighttime use.
