The PawHut Hamster Cage is designed for hamster owners who prioritize natural behavior and environmental enrichment, offering a spacious, secure habitat that supports essential activities like digging, tunneling, and exercise. It is perfect for those looking to upgrade from cramped starter kits to a more species-appropriate enclosure, though its larger footprint requires dedicated surface area in your home to ensure stability and proper ventilation.

Yes, the spacious design is suitable for most common species, including Syrians and Dwarfs, provided the accessories are sized appropriately.
Spot clean daily for waste and leftover food, and perform a partial bedding change every 2-3 weeks to maintain hygiene.
The cage is designed as an enclosure base; accessories like wheels and water bottles should be purchased separately to fit your pet's specific size needs.
No, these cages are not designed for vertical stacking and should be placed individually on a sturdy surface.
Yes, the base is specifically engineered to be deep enough for hamsters to express their natural digging and tunneling behaviors.
Utilize the dual-access doors; use the top opening for access to distant corners and the front door for general maintenance.
Ensure the bedding depth does not exceed the wall height and consider using a slightly more compressed, high-quality paper bedding to prevent shifting.
To begin, ensure the cage is placed on a level, solid surface away from direct sunlight and drafts. When adding bedding, ensure it is packed down slightly in layers to allow for better tunnel integrity. Compatibility with accessories is high; the wide floor plan fits most standard upright wheels and ceramic hideouts. For routine care, use the top opening to remove large waste and the front door for daily feeding. Wipe the plastic base with a pet-safe disinfectant during deep cleans, and ensure all parts are completely dry before returning the bedding and your hamster to the enclosure.
