FAQs

What is the anchor made of?

The anchor is made of hardened steel.

What size bolts are used?

M6 bolts are included.

Can I install it on wood?

While it's possible, the security is significantly reduced. Concrete or solid masonry is recommended for optimal security.

What tools do I need for installation?

You'll need a drill, drill bits appropriate for the mounting surface and the M6 bolts, a wrench or socket to tighten the bolts, and possibly a hammer.

Is the anchor weather-resistant?

Yes, it is designed for outdoor use. However, prolonged exposure to harsh conditions may affect its lifespan.

How do I maintain the anchor?

Regularly check the anchor for signs of rust or damage. Keep the shackle and the locking mechanism free of debris. Ensure the bolts are tight.

Can the anchor be used for securing motorcycles?

Yes, if used with an appropriate chain or cable.

Troubleshooting

Anchor is loose after installation.

Tighten the M6 bolts. If the issue persists, consider using different bolts or a stronger fixing method, depending on the mounting surface.

Bolt cover is difficult to remove.

Use the appropriate tools. Make sure the bolt cover is aligned correctly before attempting to remove it.

Shackle is too small for the intended chain/cable.

Check the shackle dimensions before purchasing a chain or cable.
