Setup, Compatibility & Care
Compatibility Check: Before installation, verify that the XTT39 sensor is compatible with your vehicle's make, model, and year. Check the listed cross-references and OEM part numbers against your vehicle's existing component or service manual. Key compatible OEM references include FORD E92Z10884C, HONDA 37750PC1004, KIA KK1501851X, and MAZDA G60718510.
Installation: Ensure the engine is cool before beginning. Safely drain a small amount of coolant if necessary to prevent spillage. Remove the old sensor using a 13mm spanner. Clean the mounting threads on the engine block. Apply a small amount of thread sealant (if recommended by vehicle manufacturer) to the new sensor's threads. Screw in the XTT39 sensor by hand until snug, then tighten gently with the spanner. Connect the single-pin connector securely. Reinstall any components removed. Refill coolant if necessary and check for leaks after starting the engine.
Care: This sensor is a sealed unit and generally requires no specific maintenance. However, it is crucial to keep the sensor's electrical connector clean and free from corrosion. Periodically inspect the sensor and its wiring for any signs of damage or wear as part of regular vehicle maintenance.
