Sealant Smoothing Tools - Pack of 4 - OB1

The OB1 Sealant Smoothing Tools are compatible with most common sealant types, including silicone, acrylic, caulk, and polyurethane.

This pack includes four (4) distinct sealant smoothing tools.

For best results, especially with sticky sealants, you can lightly dampen the tool's edge or the sealant bead with soapy water. However, many users find success without any additional agents.

Clean the tools immediately after use with a damp cloth or sponge. For hardened sealant, you may need a plastic scraper or a mild cleaning agent.

No, these tools are specifically designed for shaping, smoothing, and removing excess sealant after application, not for applying it.

Yes, the tools are made from a durable material designed for repeated use in construction and DIY environments.

The different shapes are designed to create precise angles and finishes for various joint types, including internal corners, external corners, and flat surfaces.

Ensure the tool is held at a consistent angle. Clean the tool's edge if sealant buildup is interfering with the finish. For very wet sealant, you may need to allow it to skin over slightly before using the tool.

Apply gentle pressure and use a scooping motion. Ensure you are using the correct side of the tool for the joint profile. Clean the tool frequently to prevent clogging.

Lightly dampen the tool's edge before use, or apply a very thin layer of soapy water to the sealant bead. Ensure the sealant is not over-applied.
