Setup, Compatibility & Care
Initial Setup
- Unpack: Carefully remove the watch from its packaging.
- Set Time and Date: Pull the crown out to the appropriate position (refer to the diagram, typically one click for date, two clicks for time). Rotate the crown to set the correct time and date. Push the crown back in fully to secure the settings and ensure water resistance.
- Adjust Bracelet: For an optimal fit, the stainless steel bracelet may need to be adjusted by adding or removing links. This is best done by a professional jeweler or watch repair service to prevent damage.
Compatibility
This watch is designed for adults. The 44mm case size is a standard men's watch size, but wrist comfort is subjective. Ensure the bracelet is adjusted to fit your wrist snugly but not uncomfortably tight.
Care & Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the watch case and bracelet regularly with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth to remove dirt, sweat, and oils. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used on the stainless steel, followed immediately by a dry cloth. Avoid chemical cleaners, solvents, or abrasive materials.
- Water Resistance: While resistant to 50m, avoid prolonged exposure to water, hot tubs, saunas, or steam. Never operate the crown or pushers when the watch is wet or underwater.
- Impact: Protect the watch from strong impacts or extreme vibrations, which can damage the internal movement or external components.
- Temperature: Avoid exposing the watch to extreme temperatures, both hot and cold, as this can affect battery life and the integrity of seals.
- Battery Replacement: The quartz movement requires a battery. When the watch stops or the second hand skips, it's time for a battery change. This should be performed by a qualified watch technician to ensure proper battery type and water resistance seal integrity.
- Storage: When not in use, store your watch in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and strong magnetic fields.
