This Defender Power Pod Transformer is a lightweight and powerful solution for distributing power in harsh environments. It features a tough, polycarbonate casing and provides 3.3kVA of power. The transformer has 2 x 16A recessed sockets suitable for a variety of corded tools and lighting applications, including drills, demolition hammers, bench grinders, angle grinders, jigsaws, and circular saws. It also includes an integrated lifting handle and cable tidy with a securing strap. For added safety, it is centre-tapped to earth and compliant with BS EN 61558-1. The unit offers intermittent rating of 3300VA and continuous rating of 1650VA with a duty cycle of 5 mins on / 15 mins off. It has an ingress protection rating of IP44 and is supplied with a 240V 13A plug and a 1.8m cable. The transformer operates at 110V and has a 16A rating. Dimensions are 280 x 280 x 285mm and it weighs 18kg. The casing is yellow. It comes with a 6-month guarantee.
