SPECIFIC Canine Digestive Support Low Fat is a high-quality veterinary diet designed for adult dogs suffering from digestive sensitivities, pancreatitis, or fat maldigestion. By providing a low-fat profile alongside essential Omega-3 fatty acids, this formula promotes optimal gastrointestinal comfort and efficient nutrient absorption, though it should only be fed under the explicit guidance of a veterinarian to ensure it meets your dog's specific medical needs.

Yes, this is a veterinary diet and should be fed under the supervision and recommendation of your veterinarian.
No, this diet is specifically balanced for adult dogs and does not meet the growth requirements of puppies.
The duration depends on your dog's specific health condition; follow the timeline provided by your veterinarian.
It is best to consult your vet, as non-prescription treats may be high in fat and could negate the benefits of this low-fat diet.
Low fat content helps reduce the workload on the pancreas and digestive system, which is crucial for dogs with specific GI issues.
Try slightly warming the food or adding a small amount of lukewarm water to enhance the aroma.
Slow down the transition process; mix a larger percentage of the previous food back in for a few extra days.
Consult your veterinarian as this may indicate an underlying condition requiring immediate medical intervention.
When introducing this food, perform a gradual transition over 5 to 7 days by mixing it with your dog's previous food, slowly increasing the ratio of the new diet to prevent further stomach upset. Always ensure your dog has access to fresh, clean water at all times. Store the bag in a cool, dry place and keep it tightly sealed to maintain the integrity of the Omega-3 fatty acids and prevent oxidation. If you notice no improvement or a worsening of clinical signs after transitioning to the diet, contact your veterinarian immediately.
