Setup, Compatibility & Care
- Unpack and Inspect: Carefully unpack the kit and check that all components are present, according to the installation guide.
- Measure and Cut: Measure the required length of the handrail and use a hacksaw or jigsaw to cut the tubes to the desired size. Always wear appropriate safety gear.
- Install Brackets: Attach the wall brackets to the wall using the provided screws and wall plugs, following the instructions. Ensure brackets are securely fixed and aligned.
- Attach Handrail: Place the handrail tubes onto the installed brackets. Secure the tubes by using the provided connectors.
- Final Checks: Double-check all connections to ensure they are secure and the handrail is stable.
Compatibility
The Rothley handrail kit is suitable for all types of interior spaces and stairs. It can be installed on various wall materials with the appropriate wall plugs provided.
Care
- Cleaning: Wipe the handrail with a soft, damp cloth to remove any dust or dirt. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they can damage the finish.
- Maintenance: Regularly inspect the handrail for any loose screws or damage. Tighten any loose screws and replace damaged components immediately.
