Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Prepare the Surface: Ensure the timber decking area is clean, dry, and free from loose debris, dirt, or algae. Remove any existing slippery coatings.
- Position the Strips: Carefully place the anti-slip strips in the desired location. Ensure they are aligned correctly and cover the intended slippery area.
- Secure the Strips: Utilize the pre-drilled holes and provided screws to firmly attach the strips to the timber. Use appropriate screwdrivers for a secure fit. Ensure screws are driven flush with the surface.
Compatibility:
These strips are designed primarily for timber decking, paths, ramps, and steps. They are suitable for solid, flat wooden surfaces.
Care:
- Cleaning: Clean the strips periodically with water and a stiff brush to remove any accumulated dirt or debris. A mild detergent can be used if necessary. Avoid harsh abrasive cleaners.
- Inspection: Regularly inspect the strips and surrounding timber to ensure they remain securely fastened and in good condition. Check for any damage or wear.
