Professional nut serts / rivet nut for commercial or occasional use. This pack contains 6mm nut serts. They are suitable for use with most materials that cannot be tapped or welded. Dual action nut serts can be used as a blind fastener or screw anchor, ideal for creating a threaded fixing point on any metallic or dense material. Made from steel for maximum strength and durability. Requires action to only one side of the workpiece, allowing the nut to be installed after painting or other finishing operations to provide a robust screw anchor, thus eliminating problems of welding and material distortion. Once installed, they are permanently attached to the mating material, allowing the associated nut to be removed in service without the risk of the fastener becoming dislodged. Features a strong thread with at least 6 turns, even on thinner materials. Zinc coated to prevent rust and wear. Leaves a strong, professional-looking fastener.
