Setup, Compatibility & Care
- Preparation: Ensure the cut edge of the worktop is clean, smooth, and free of debris. Measure and cut the edging tape to the required length, allowing a slight overlap.
- Adhesive Application: Apply an appropriate adhesive (contact adhesive is recommended) to both the worktop edge and the back of the edging tape. Follow the adhesive manufacturer's instructions.
- Application: Carefully align the edging tape with the worktop edge and press firmly along the entire length. Use a roller or smooth tool to ensure even pressure.
- Trimming: Once the adhesive has set, use a sharp utility knife or trimmer to remove any excess edging tape, creating a flush finish.
Compatibility: This edging tape is designed specifically to match GoodHome worktops. Check the color and finish compatibility prior to application.
Care: Clean the edging tape with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these may damage the surface.
