Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Determine Placement: Identify the blind spot area you wish to monitor. Common locations are the upper or lower corner of your existing side mirror.
- Attach Bracket: Secure the "L" shaped mounting bracket to the edge of your vehicle's existing side mirror housing. Ensure it is firmly in place.
- Mount Mirror: Attach the 8-inch convex mirror to the bracket. The "L" bracket often allows for adjustment before final tightening.
- Adjust View: Position the mirror to achieve the widest possible view of your blind spot. Tighten all mounting screws securely.
Compatibility:
This mirror is designed to be universally compatible with most standard vehicle side mirror housings. The adjustable "L" bracket accommodates various mirror thicknesses and shapes. It is suitable for cars, trucks, SUVs, and RVs.
Care:
- Clean the mirror surface regularly with a soft, damp cloth to ensure a clear view. Avoid abrasive cleaners that can scratch the mirror.
- Periodically check that the mounting bracket and mirror screws remain tight to prevent shifting.
