Setup
Setting up your Teamson Home Waterfall Fountain is a straightforward process, designed to take less than 10 minutes.
- Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging. Ensure you have the fountain body, submersible pump, LED lights, power cable, and pebble stones.
- Position the Fountain: Choose a stable, level surface near an accessible electrical outlet.
- Install the Pump: Place the submersible pump inside the fountain's water reservoir. Connect the pump's tubing to the water outlet inside the fountain.
- Connect LED Lights: If the LED lights are separate, connect them to their designated power source or integrate them as per the instructions. Ensure wiring is neatly tucked away.
- Fill with Water: Fill the reservoir with distilled or tap water (distilled water can help prevent mineral buildup) up to the recommended level. The capacity is 9 litres.
- Add Pebble Stones: Arrange the included pebble stones around the base of the fountain for an enhanced aesthetic.
- Connect Power: Plug the 200cm power cable into a suitable 230-240V electrical outlet. Ensure your hands are dry.
Compatibility
- Placement: Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Its weather-resistant construction makes it ideal for gardens, patios, decks, or balconies. Indoors, it complements living rooms, offices, or conservatories.
- Power: Requires a standard 230-240V electrical outlet. The pump is UL-listed for safety.
Care
- Water Level: Regularly check and top up the water level to ensure the pump remains fully submerged, preventing damage and maintaining optimal flow.
- Cleaning: Periodically clean the fountain to prevent algae buildup and mineral deposits. Empty the water, wipe down surfaces with a soft cloth and mild soap, and rinse thoroughly. Clean the pump filter as well.
- Winterization (Outdoor Use): If placed outdoors in freezing temperatures, drain all water from the fountain and pump. Store the pump indoors in a dry, frost-free location. Cover the fountain or bring it indoors to protect it from extreme weather to prolong its lifespan.
