Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup Instructions:
- Prepare the Valve: Loosen the locking ring on your existing radiator or towel rail valve.
- Insert the Reducer: Place the pipe reducer into the valve body. Ensure the 15mm pipe can connect securely to the wider end of the reducer.
- Adjust Protrusion: Utilize the 19mm tail length to adjust how far the reducer sits within the valve, ensuring it aligns correctly with your pipework.
- Tighten the Valve: Securely tighten the valve's locking nut over the reducer to create a watertight seal.
Compatibility:
- Pipe Sizes: Designed to convert from 15mm pipework to fit valves requiring 10mm pipe connections.
- Pipe Materials: Suitable for use with both copper and plastic pipework.
- Valve Types: Fits any standard 1/2" - 15mm radiator or towel rail valve, including straight, angled, and corner configurations.
Care Instructions:
These reducers are typically made from durable materials and require minimal care. Ensure connections are tightened appropriately during installation to prevent leaks. Regular checks of your radiator system for any signs of corrosion or leaks are recommended. No specific cleaning agents are required for the reducer itself; any cleaning should be part of general radiator system maintenance.
