Full details

The Sennheiser Profile Wireless 2-Channel Set is an all-in-one audio solution designed for content creators needing reliable, high-quality sound. Its key benefit is offering dual-channel recording with internal storage and quick pairing for seamless setup. A potential caveat is its reliance on the 2.4 GHz frequency, which can be subject to interference in crowded wireless environments. This system includes two clip-on transmitters, a receiver, and a versatile charging bar that also functions as a handheld microphone, featuring 16GB of internal recording, magnetic mounts, and up to 7.5 hours of battery life.

Troubleshooting

No audio output

Ensure all devices are powered on, paired correctly, and that volume levels are set appropriately. Check cable connections to the recording device.

Intermittent audio dropouts

Move the receiver closer to the transmitters, minimize potential sources of 2.4 GHz interference (e.g., Wi-Fi routers, other wireless devices), and ensure transmitters have sufficient battery charge.

Transmitter not pairing

Perform a manual re-pairing process as outlined in the user manual. Ensure devices are fully charged and within close proximity during pairing.

Poor audio quality (hissing, distortion)

Check microphone placement and distance from the audio source. Ensure input levels on the receiver and recording device are not set too high, causing clipping. Clean microphone windscreens if applicable.
