Full details
The Impulse 1200mm Rectangle Desk is an ideal professional workspace solution for users who prioritize durability and stability in a high-traffic office or home environment. Designed with a robust 25mm thick heat-resistant melamine top and double-strut cantilever legs, this desk provides a reliable foundation for daily computing and administrative tasks. While it offers excellent weight capacity and cable management, users should note that the 1200mm width is best suited for focused, single-monitor setups rather than sprawling workstation layouts.

FAQs
What is the weight limit of the desk?
The desk is rated for a weight capacity of up to 135kg.
Can the cable ports be moved?
No, the cable ports are fixed in pre-drilled positions on the tabletop.
Is the surface scratch-resistant?
The desk features a heat-resistant melamine finish, which provides high durability against minor surface scratches and daily usage.
What tools are needed for assembly?
Standard hand tools, including a screwdriver and potentially a hex key (often provided), are required for assembly.
Can this desk accommodate a dual-monitor setup?
While it can fit two small monitors, a 1200mm width is typically better suited for a single large monitor or a laptop and one monitor.
Does it come with privacy panels?
Yes, it includes an 18mm modesty panel as part of the structural design.
Troubleshooting
Desk surface feels uneven or wobbly
Adjust the leveling feet at the base of the cantilever legs until the desk is flush with the floor.
Difficulty installing monitor arm clamp
Verify that the clamp mechanism is fully compatible with a 25mm thick top; if the modesty panel blocks the path, adjust the desk slightly away from the wall to allow more clearance.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
Assembly: The desk arrives as a flat-pack unit. Ensure all hardware is accounted for and follow the included instructions, focusing on securing the cantilever legs to the underside of the 25mm top. A two-person assembly is recommended due to the weight of the tabletop.
Compatibility: The desk is compatible with standard monitor arms and desk-mounted privacy screens due to its 25mm edge clearance and modesty panel positioning.
Care Instructions:
- To clean the melamine surface, use a soft cloth with mild soap and water.
- Avoid using harsh abrasive cleaners or scouring pads that could scratch the finish.
- Periodically check and tighten the leg bolts to ensure the structure remains rigid over time.
