Setup, Compatibility & Care Instructions
Initial Setup
Before first use, disassemble all parts of the bottle and clean them thoroughly. To sterilize, you can use boiling water for 5 minutes or utilize the bottle's unique self-sterilization feature.
Self-Sterilization Steps
- Disassemble: Take apart all five components of the MAM Easy Start bottle: teat, screw ring, bottle body, vented base, and cap.
- Assemble for Sterilization: Fill the vented base with 20ml of water. Place the teat into the screw ring, then place this assembly onto the base. Place the bottle body on top, followed by the cap.
- Microwave: Heat in the microwave for 3 minutes (power 500-1000W). Ensure the microwave is clean. The steam generated sterilizes the bottle parts effectively.
Compatibility
- Age: Suitable for 0+ Months infants.
- Feeding: Ideal for combined breastfeeding and bottle feeding due to the SkinSoft™ teat's design.
- Spare Parts: All spare parts are available on `mambaby.com`.
Care and Maintenance
- Cleaning: After each use, disassemble the bottle completely and wash all parts with warm soapy water. Use a bottle brush for thorough cleaning of the bottle interior and a small brush for the teat and vent parts. Rinse thoroughly.
- Sterilization: Sterilize regularly using the self-sterilization method or your preferred sterilization method (e.g., steam sterilizer, boiling).
- Storage: Store clean, dry bottles in a hygienic place. Avoid direct sunlight or heat.
- Teat Replacement: Inspect teats regularly for any signs of wear, tears, or damage. Replace them if any damage is visible or discolouration occurs. Teats should generally be replaced every 1-2 months for hygiene and performance, or sooner if needed. Info needed: [Specific MAM recommendation for teat replacement frequency].
