Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Unpack the stand and ensure all sections are free of debris.
- Extend the legs and adjust the leveling leg by twisting its base until the stand sits firmly on the ground without wobbling.
- Extend the telescopic sections by loosening the locking collars and pulling them up to the desired height. Retighten the collars securely.
- Mount your equipment onto the 5/8" Baby top stud. Ensure the equipment's mounting point is securely fastened.
Compatibility:
The stand features a standard 5/8" (16mm) Baby stud, which is compatible with most professional studio lights, strobes, flashes, and grip accessories that have a corresponding receiver. This includes items like C-stands, boom arms, and various light modifiers.
Care:
- Keep the stand clean by wiping it down with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, use a slightly damp cloth and allow it to dry completely.
- Periodically check the wheels for obstructions and clean them to maintain smooth rolling. Ensure the locking brakes are functioning correctly.
- Inspect the locking collars on the telescopic sections to ensure they are tightening securely to hold the weight.
- Store the stand in a dry environment when not in use to prevent corrosion, especially on the steel components.
