Hemline Scissors & Snips Set (Value Pack of 5)

These scissors are best suited for general crafting fabrics, embroidery, and threads. They are not designed for heavy-duty materials like denim, canvas, or leather.

Clean the blades after use and store them properly. For best results, apply a small amount of oil to the pivot point periodically. Sharpening may be needed after extensive use.

The bent scissors and thread snips are generally ambidextrous. However, the micro-tip and embroidery scissors have a design that typically favors right-handed users.

Please refer to the product packaging or Hemline's official website for specific warranty information, as it can vary.

Yes, the thread snips can be used for cutting yarn, though they are optimized for finer threads.

The bent handle design allows the scissors to rest flat on your cutting surface, enabling you to cut fabric without lifting it, which leads to more accurate cuts.

Check the pivot screw; it might be too tight. Loosen it slightly. Alternatively, clean any lint or debris from the pivot area and apply a small amount of oil.

Ensure the blades are clean and free of debris. Check if the pivot screw needs tightening for better blade alignment. For heavy use, the blades may need professional sharpening.

These scissors are designed for precision. For larger tasks, use the 8-inch bent scissors. Consider ergonomic grip aids if needed for extended use of smaller tools.
