Sealey Trim Clip Removal Set - 4pc

The set is designed for common automotive door trim clips, featuring U and V-profile tips suitable for many fasteners. It also includes a specific tool for window winder clips.

When used correctly, these tools are designed to minimize the risk of scratching. However, care should always be taken, and it's advisable to test pressure in an inconspicuous area first, especially on delicate or high-gloss finishes.

While some overlap may exist, these tools are primarily optimized for interior trim. Exterior body panel clips can vary significantly and may require different types of tools.

Clean the tools with a damp cloth after each use and store them in a dry environment to prevent corrosion and maintain their condition.

The set covers a wide range of common clip types found in many vehicle makes and models. However, exceptionally unique or proprietary clip designs might require specialized tools.

Yes, the window winder clip removal/installation tool is designed to facilitate both the removal and reattachment of these specific clips.

Ensure the correct profile tip (U or V) is engaged with the clip. Apply steady, even pressure. For stubborn clips, try gently wiggling the tool while applying upward pressure.

This can occur with brittle or old clips. Ensure the tool is fully seated under the clip before prying. Sometimes, applying a small amount of penetrating lubricant around the clip area can help. For extremely fragile clips, consider replacement parts beforehand.

Utilize the angled trim tool for hard-to-reach areas. If the clip is still inaccessible, alternative methods or a more specialized tool might be necessary for that particular application.
