If you have purchased your Franke tap since sept 2012 then this is the filter you require and NOT the Triflow/Uiflow filter as it was previously known).Franke Filters are essentially a high-quality ceramic shell filled with a block carbon element which removes chlorine, sediment and dissolved organics.This cartridge is of similar construction, although in order to reduce flow problems the ceramic is not quite as refined as the original cartridge.This is due to customer demand, as it reduces blinding and prevents slow flow rates.
