Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Preparation: Ensure the target wall surface is clean, dry, and structurally sound. Remove any old wallpaper or loose paint.
- Measurement & Cutting: Measure the area to be covered and mark the panels as needed. Use a sharp utility knife or saw for precise cuts.
- Adhesive Application: Apply a suitable strong adhesive (e.g., a heavy-duty construction adhesive) to the back of the panels or directly to the wall, following the adhesive manufacturer's instructions.
- Installation: Press each panel firmly into place, ensuring it aligns correctly with the previous panel for a seamless finish. Work in manageable sections.
- Finishing: Allow the adhesive to cure completely as per the product guidelines before cleaning or touching the panels.
Compatibility:
These panels are designed for application onto most interior wall surfaces, including plaster, drywall, and painted surfaces. Ensure the wall is flat and rigid. Not recommended for ceilings or areas with constant high moisture (e.g., shower enclosures).
Care:
To maintain the appearance and integrity of the panels, clean them with a soft, damp cloth. For tougher marks, a mild soap solution can be used, followed by a wipe-down with a clean damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they can damage the surface finish.
