This guide is for anyone using the Sealey Engine Oil Funnel Kit. It simplifies oil changes with its large capacity and adaptable design, making the process faster and cleaner. A key benefit is the reduction of spills and mess during oil changes. However, it's important to note that the kit's effectiveness depends on selecting the correct adaptor for your vehicle. This guide will cover features, usage, and troubleshooting to help you get the most out of your kit.

Use a suitable solvent or cleaning solution designed for automotive parts. Rinse thoroughly and allow them to dry completely before storage.
Contact the manufacturer or a supplier to inquire about replacement adaptors.
The kit is primarily designed for engine oil. Check the fluid's compatibility with the funnel material and adaptors before use.
Attach the elbow to the funnel when the oil fill neck is in a hard-to-reach location. This provides better access and pouring angle.
The mesh filter helps to prevent contaminants from entering the engine during oil changes, keeping your engine oil clean.
The color-coded adaptor guide is usually provided with the kit's instructions. If it's lost, check the manufacturer's website or contact customer support.
Ensure the correct adaptor is selected and properly fitted. Check for any damage to the adaptor or the oil fill neck. Make sure the adaptor is creating a secure seal.
Adjust the flow control switch. Check for any blockages in the funnel or adaptor. Ensure the oil is at the correct temperature (warm oil flows more easily).
Consult the vehicle's manual to confirm the oil fill neck type and find the closest matching adaptor. If none fit, the kit may not be compatible with your vehicle.
This kit is designed to work with a wide range of vehicles including Mazda/Ford, Volvo, Audi/VAG, Honda/Nissan, GM/Ford, Toyota, Kia/Hyundai, Toyota/Lexus/Scion, VAG/BMW/Mercedes, GM, Chrysler, and Subaru. Always double-check compatibility with your vehicle's specific model and year, or consult your vehicle's manual before use.
