The Thule 710500 Foot Pack is an essential solution for vehicle owners who need a reliable roof rack base but lack factory-installed rails or fixed attachment points. Designed for ease of use and maximum safety, this clamp-fitting system supports a significant load capacity of up to 75kg, making it perfect for transporting bikes, cargo boxes, or sports gear. While it provides a highly secure foundation, users should note that installation requires careful attention to specific vehicle fitment requirements to ensure paint protection and optimal stability.

Yes, it is designed for durability, but we recommend removing it if the vehicle will be unused for extended periods to prevent paint marking.
The 75kg limit is the maximum capacity for the rack system; always check your vehicle manufacturer's roof load limit, as that may be lower.

Yes, this version includes integrated locks to secure the feet to your vehicle.
Verify that the clamp is properly aligned with the door frame; if it is, keep turning the key slowly until the mechanism reaches the required tension.
Re-check the fit kit instructions to ensure you are using the correct clips for your specific vehicle make and model.
Apply a small amount of silicone-based lubricant to the lock cylinder to clear any dust or grit buildup.
Installation of the 710500 involves attaching the feet to your specific Thule bar system and securing them to the vehicle's door frame using a compatible fit kit. Always verify your vehicle model via the Thule Fit Guide before purchase, as this foot pack requires vehicle-specific adapters. To maintain the system, periodically inspect the rubber contact pads for debris that could scratch the paint. If you live in a coastal or snowy area where road salt is common, wipe down the metal clamps with a damp cloth every few months to prevent minor surface corrosion.
