Setup:
- Mount your camera securely onto the gimbal's quick-release plates.
- Balance the camera meticulously using the fine-tuning knobs and axis locks. Ensure the camera remains stable when the motors are off.
- Attach the briefcase handle and any other accessories.
- Connect your camera to the gimbal via the control cable for camera control features.
- Power on the gimbal and calibrate it using the DJI Ronin app if necessary.
Compatibility:
The DJI RS 5 Gimbal is designed to work with a wide range of mirrorless and DSLR cameras from brands such as Canon, Sony, Panasonic, Nikon, and Fujifilm. Always check the latest DJI compatibility list for specific camera models and lens combinations to ensure full functionality.
Care:
- Store the gimbal in its protective carrying case when not in use.
- Keep the gimbal and its motors clean; use a dry or slightly damp cloth for cleaning. Avoid harsh chemicals.
- Ensure the axis locks are engaged during transport to prevent damage.
- Periodically check for firmware updates via the DJI Ronin app for performance improvements and new features.
