Setup, Compatibility & Care Instructions
Preparation:
Ensure surfaces are clean, dry (or slightly damp), and free from dust, grease, and loose material. For best results, lightly abrade smooth surfaces.
Application:
- Apply the adhesive to one surface using a suitable applicator (e.g., caulk gun). Apply in a zig-zag pattern or as a continuous bead, depending on the application. The adhesive will expand slightly as it cures.
- Press the surfaces firmly together within the 30-minute open time.
- Clamp or secure the bond immediately. Ensure adequate pressure is applied.
Compatibility:
This adhesive is compatible with most wood types (hard, soft, exotic, painted), metal, PVC, polystyrene, stone, brick, and masonry. Always test on a small, inconspicuous area if unsure about specific plastic or surface compatibility.
Care and Cleanup:
- Wipe away any excess uncured adhesive immediately with a damp cloth.
- Once cured, excess adhesive is difficult to remove and may require mechanical means (sanding, scraping).
- Store the adhesive in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures, with the nozzle sealed.
- Clean application tools with appropriate solvent (e.g., white spirit) before the adhesive cures. Cured adhesive may require specialized cleaners.
