Setup, Compatibility & Care
To maintain the integrity of the corduroy fabric and the tailored fit, adhere to the following care guidelines:
- Cleaning: Check the internal care label for specific washing instructions. Generally, cotton corduroy is best washed on a gentle cycle in cold water to prevent shrinking.
- Drying: Air dry the blazer on a padded hanger to help it retain its shape. Avoid high-heat tumble drying, which can damage the nap of the corduroy.
- Storage: Store on a wide-shouldered hanger to prevent the shoulder structure from sagging. Do not fold the blazer for extended periods, as this can create permanent creases in the cord fabric.
- Compatibility: This garment pairs well with denim, wool trousers, or skirts. Due to its texture, it is best contrasted with smoother fabrics like silk or cotton poplin.
