Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: These tweezers require no setup. They are ready for immediate use upon unboxing.
Compatibility: Compatible with a wide range of electronic components, particularly those sensitive to electrostatic discharge (ESD). They are suitable for use in electronics manufacturing, repair workshops, laboratories, and hobbyist electronics projects.
Care:
- Cleaning: Clean the tips and handles regularly with a soft, dry cloth. For tougher residues, use a mild cleaning agent (like isopropyl alcohol) on a cloth, ensuring all moisture is evaporated afterward. Avoid abrasive materials that could damage the ESD coating or tip finish.
- Storage: Store the tweezers in a clean, dry place. It is recommended to use the protective cap (if provided) or store them in a dedicated tool case or pouch to prevent damage to the tips and maintain their ESD properties.
- Handling: Always handle with care. Avoid dropping the tweezers or using them for prying or excessive force, which could bend or damage the tips.
- ESD Integrity: Periodically check the ESD coating for any signs of damage. If the coating is compromised, the electrostatic protection may be reduced.
