These propagators are primarily designed for starting seeds and cuttings. The depth is suitable for early growth, but larger plants would need to be transplanted into larger pots or beds.

Yes, the clear lid is easily removable. It is recommended to remove the lid once seedlings have germinated and begun to establish to improve air circulation and prevent damping off.

The propagators are made from PVC and PS materials.

While they help retain warmth, they do not provide active heating. They are best used in a location that receives ambient warmth or on a sunny windowsill.

This is normal. If excessive, briefly lift the lid to allow some air exchange. Ensure the propagator is not in direct, intense sunlight which can overheat the contents.

This may indicate insufficient light. Move the propagator to a brighter windowsill or consider supplementing with a grow light. Ensure the lid is removed once seedlings have emerged.

Too much moisture and poor air circulation can cause mould. Remove affected compost, allow the propagator to air out by lifting the lid for a few hours, and reduce watering frequency. Ensure good drainage in your compost mix.
