Setup, Compatibility & Care
Proper setup is critical for safety and efficiency. Ensure the fuel pump is installed at a slight upward angle to prevent air bubbles in the line. The exhaust pipe must be routed outside the vehicle and kept away from flammable materials such as plastic or carpeting. For compatibility, verify your battery capacity to ensure it can handle the initial current draw during the startup glow-plug phase. For care, run the heater on its 'high' setting for at least 20 minutes once every few weeks to burn off any carbon deposits that accumulate during low-heat usage. Periodically inspect the air intake and exhaust vents to ensure they remain unobstructed by debris or snow.
