- 2.4 GHz Wireless: Plug the mini receiver into an available USB port on your device. Ensure the keyboard is switched to the 2.4 GHz mode.
- Bluetooth Wireless: Turn on the keyboard's Bluetooth mode. On your device, search for available Bluetooth devices and select the KROM Kernel Pro. You may need to press a specific key combination to initiate pairing.
- Software Installation: Download and install the KROM configuration software from the official website to customize RGB lighting, macros, and key remapping.
Compatibility:
The KROM Kernel Pro is officially compatible with Windows operating systems. While it may function with other operating systems for basic typing, advanced features like software customization and specific hotkeys are optimized for Windows.
Care:
- Cleaning: Use a dry or slightly damp microfiber cloth to wipe down the keyboard's surface. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. For deep cleaning, carefully remove keycaps (if comfortable doing so) and use compressed air to remove debris from between the switches.
- Battery: To ensure optimal battery life, consider reducing RGB brightness or effects when not actively gaming or when using a wired connection. Charge using the provided USB Type-C cable.
- Switch Maintenance: If a switch becomes unresponsive, utilize the CIY technology to replace it with one of the spare switches provided. Refer to the software or manual for detailed instructions on switch replacement.
