This is a metric spanner sized at exactly 15mm.
It is designed for standard maintenance and general servicing tasks; it should handle typical automotive and DIY torque requirements.
No, this is a fixed-head combination spanner without a ratcheting feature.
The satin finish provides a sleek, professional look and helps protect the metal from corrosion compared to raw, unfinished steel.
Yes, it is designed to be fully compatible with other Neilsen metric spanner sets.
Ensure the fastener is actually 15mm and that the spanner is seated fully onto the head of the bolt.
Clean the area with a fine-grit abrasive pad and apply a thin layer of machine oil to restore the protective barrier.
Apply a penetrating lubricant and allow it to soak before attempting to turn the fastener again.
No complex setup is required for this tool. Simply match the 15mm head to your specific metric fastener. To maintain the life of your Neilsen spanner, wipe away oil, grease, and moisture with a clean shop rag after every use to prevent surface oxidation. Store the tool in a dry, organized toolbox or on a wall rack to avoid contact with abrasive metals that might scratch the satin finish. If working in particularly wet or corrosive environments, a light application of tool oil can help preserve the finish.
