Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: Choose a planting location that receives full sunlight or partial shade. Ensure the soil is well-drained to prevent root rot. Dig a hole twice as wide as the root ball and just as deep. Place the plant in the hole, backfill with soil, and water thoroughly.
Compatibility: Forsythia Weekend is compatible with various garden designs. It works well with other spring-blooming plants, such as daffodils, tulips, and early-blooming perennials. It can also be integrated into mixed borders or used as a standalone specimen.
Care: Water regularly, especially during dry spells. Apply a balanced fertilizer in early spring to encourage growth and flowering. Prune after flowering to maintain shape and encourage new growth for the following season's blooms. Remove any dead or damaged branches. Mulch around the base of the plant to help retain moisture and suppress weeds.
