Setup, Compatibility & Care
- Placement: Ensure the unit is placed on a flat, stable surface with at least 5-10cm of clearance on all sides to allow for proper airflow and heat dissipation.
- Stabilization: Let the freezer stand upright for at least 4 to 6 hours after transport before plugging it into a power outlet to allow the refrigerant to settle.
- Leveling: Use the adjustable feet to ensure the unit is perfectly level to prevent excessive vibration or noise during compressor cycles.
- Cleaning: Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. For the interior, use a mild detergent mixed with warm water, ensuring the unit is unplugged first.
- Maintenance: Monitor ice buildup on the cooling elements. When frost exceeds a few millimeters, disconnect the power to perform a manual defrosting process to maintain energy efficiency.
